Why Move-In Cleaning Matters

Think everything is clean and ready for you to unpack as soon as you move in? Think again. Surfaces can still harbor germs, dust, allergens, and grime left behind by previous occupants. Even if your home looks clean at first glance, there can be hidden areas that need special attention — areas that a casual, surface-level cleaning may miss.

A professional move-in cleaning involves a top-to-bottom deep clean of the entire home, including those hard-to-reach places like under appliances, inside cabinets, and around baseboards. Here are some other important areas a move-in cleaning will tackle:

Bathroom and Kitchen

As common breeding grounds for harmful viruses, bacteria, and pathogens, these locations in your home require a high level of disinfecting and cleaning to ensure the health and safety of your family.

Dust Traps

Dust tends to settle in every corner, including vents, windowsills, and ceiling fan blades. If you or your loved ones are allergy sufferers, moving into a dusty environment can trigger unpleasant symptoms. A move-in cleaning can help you avoid them!

High-Traffic Areas

Professional Cleaning Makes All the Difference

While you may consider tackling move-in cleaning yourself, there are many reasons to leave it to the professionals. Your tried and true household cleaners may not effectively cut through tough grime or disinfect surfaces properly. Plus, moving is already stressful. Why overwhelm yourself by adding a deep clean to your to-do list?

Here’s where Maid Brigade can help. Our residential home cleaning services go above and beyond standard cleaning. Thanks to our exclusive PUREcleaning® system, our move-in & move-out cleaning can provide a deeper, more effective clean so you can enjoy a truly fresh start.

Deep cleaning experience: If you're looking for a high quality PROFESSIONAL cleaning company then look no further. Image being at a luxury hotel and your room attendant arrives to clean the room. That is maid brigade. Their employees are Bi-lingual, licensed, bonded and insured. I have used other cleaning people in the past and maid brigade is by far the best experience I have had. From the initial phone call to booking my first service, the outstanding communication and eagerness to answer any questions; had really set them aside from the very beginning. Setting up an appointment was very easy and the woman who answered the phone was extremely patient, thorough and kind. After the call, I was left feeling very at ease and excited for them to clean my home. I received a text message the day prior confirming the arrival window between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and sure enough the two women promptly arrived as promised. They entered my home in uniform with a mask, worse gloves and had cleaning equipment for each person. They we're extremely organized and we're ready to get to work. The two women wasted no time walking through with me to see my home and answer any questions I had. By the time they came, I didn't have any questions though because they were all answered prior to them arriving on the initial phone call which was as great. The women that came to serve as my home were extremely polite, professional, skilled and had a system in place to tackle the cleaning in a very efficient and effective way. From the moment that they stepped into my home, they were non-stop cleaning. My first service was the deep clean and that is exactly what they did. They went DEEP and left nothing untouched including the tracks to the sliding door. I am particular about the way that I clean and what is to be cleaned. The women did not miss the mark. They exceeded my exceptions. They literally cleaned top to bottom, left to right with the proper tools. They left me feeling at ease and relaxed about their cleaning abilities. I didn't feel like I had to go behind them and check if something was cleaned well or at all because they are professionals and know exactly what needs to be done and the right way. Not only that, the way they operate business, it allows you to trust them in your home. They are legal to work in the US, are employees, not contractors, drive a business vehicle, are in uniform, insured and have all the necessary supplies they need. They vacuumed over sweeping (the best for dust and dirt). The eco-friendly cleaning and sanitizing products that they use left my home smelling amazing and you can definitely see that the home is in a clean state. Thank you so much! Looking forward to my maintenance cleanings. Do not hesitate to schedule a service with Maid Brigade. You won't be disappointed.
